The following are a selection of pictures taken by ourselves and guests showing the area and the inside of the cottage. We want the cottage to be a home from home and as regular visitors ourselves, we know what is needed to be comfortable, such as plenty of glasses and plates. However, we are always looking for ideas to make it even better, so please let us know what you think is missing

View down into Staithes harbour
The cottage is accessed down a short path from the parking area, shared with the immediate neighbour
South-facing lawn and seating area
Living room, with sofa and two armchairs and an open fire

In common with many of the former fisherman’s cottages in Staithes, it is best described as cosy. Although comfortable for 4 adults, there is seating for 5 and there are six beds in three bedrooms to allow for some flexibility in sleeping arrangements.

There is a door leading from the garden directly into the living room which is itself open plan with the kitchen and dining area.

There is a large open-fire place for winter evenings

Steep stairs lead up to a single and a double bedroom on the first floor and more stairs take you up to a large room with three further beds and a bathroom.

In the lockable outhouse, there is a washing machine, tumble drier, toilet and sink. Very rare we get snow in the garden, but the hills inland are often white in winter
