Outside, enclosed south facing lawned garden, with table and chairs on patio.  Note that access to the next-door cottage is through the garden of Cliff Cottage. Note: not completely secure for dogs, as no fence into woodland beyond the garden.

Secure outhouse with extra toilet, Belfast sink, washer and dryer, giving secure storage for bikes, surf-boards etc

Private parking space by the cottage (a rare asset in the village)

Well-equipped kitchen; we use as a home from home so hopefully all the little things we take for granted.

The cottage is situated at the top of a steep hill and is on 3 floors with steep stairs.  Therefore with due respect, we do not recommend booking if you feel unable to tackle these.

The car parking space is suitable for a medium family car (eg Ford Focus, BMW 5 series etc) and the turning space can be tight if the adjoining spaces are occupied.  The streets in Staithes are very steep and narrow. If you are confident, a transit van can get in, but not for the faint-hearted.
