Cliff Cottage is at the top end of Church Street which is reached by driving down the hill into Staithes, past the main pay and display car park and past the sign warning of no public parking in the village. The hill is very steep down into the village centre.
In the village, the cobbled street turns sharp right towards the harbour. Once the harbour is reached (after passing the George and then Cod and Lobster pubs), Church Street climbs up to the right (there is a warning about no turning space etc).
At the end of the narrow road, after about 200 metres, there is a small parking area, with the second space marked for Cliff Cottage. It is advised to reverse into the space.
The cottage is accessed by the black gate next to Felicity Cottage, next to the parking area.
The nearest railway stations are at Whitby and Saltburn, connecting to a regular bus service to the top of Staithes village (10 minutes walk to Cliff Cottage)
